Weather - still beautiful & Sunny!
To continue on from my previous post. We went up to the top deck & took more photos of Melbourne, then went to Horizon Court (all day buffet) & grabbed some fruit & cheese to bring back to our room. Then we sat on our balcony with the food and a bottle of wine to enjoy a beautiful sail away. The wine lasted until about 30 minutes after we set sail!
Once we were clear of civilisation we had a little afternoon nap (we did lots of walking whilst off the ship) then freshened up for dinner and headed off to The Savoy dining room about 7pm. Usual good food (seafood & veal tonight) and nice company. It's amazing how many people from different countries are on this ship. Tonight we dined with a couple from NZ and another from Canada. We restrained ourselves & only had 1 glass of wine with dinner (a nice German Riesling).
We were a bit late for the show tonight (will catch it another night) so decided to head out to the Atrium Bar & listen to a quartet play some relaxing music. The relaxation was helped by an Irish whiskey for Mike & a Singapore Sling for me. Because it is Deck Party night tonight we decided to give it a miss and retire to our stateroom earlier than normal tonight.
Whilst writing this I discovered I still have service for my IPhone so will attempt to send this now.
